Grounded

Being grounded is something that no one enjoys. When I lived at home my mom never grounded me. My mom would say "your grounded", and then she would let me off the hook and let me go out with my friends. My best friend from High School got grounded for a month once, and her mom told her that she wasn't allowed to hang out with me as part of her punishment. So in a way I was grounded too, not by my mom, but by my best friends mom. Not being able to hang out when you are inseperable (as we were) is really lonely. I am no longer friends with this person but I have better friends now that I love to death.
